In this role you will be part of our Software Design team, working broadly with both new development and improvements of existing products. You will get hands on experience with user interfaces, algorithms and hardware control, and you will work on software built around the physical principles that make our X ray technology possible. We mainly use C++ and Python in a Linux environment, and you will work closely with colleagues to achieve a precise X ray spot. The team handles the entire development lifecycle, from testing and implementation to deployment, collaborating closely with researchers, application specialists and hardware teams. You will also help shape our software infrastructure, contribute to CI/CD, develop GUI and HMI features and participate in hardware integration.

To succeed in this role
We believe you are a positive, curious and communicative team player who enjoys learning new things and facing challenges together with others.
You also have:
- A M.Sc. in software engineering, physics, electronics, mechatronics or similar
- Good knowledge of C++ and feel comfortable working in Linux
- Professional English skills
- It is a plus if you have experience with Python, Docker or Yocto, as well as an interest in physics and familiarity with complex systems
