About the role

At Proxydev, you will play a key role in building our new Analytical platform. You’ll transform usage, subscription and purchase data into well-structured models where we can guide the Software Industry to reach further via data-driven approach to Business, Sales and Customer Success. Our tech stack consists of a combination of Azure, Databricks and Power BI.

We work with short feedback loops where you have the opportunity to influence what we build next, how we prioritize, and which technical approaches we choose. As our Lead Data Engineer there will be an opportunity to develop towards more advanced analytics/ML, take product responsibility and be coached on how to succeed in the Software Industry.

You will, among other things:

· Work end-to-end with our data pipelines, including ETL processes that transform raw  data into structured and reliable datasets.

· Design, build and maintain our data model

· Develop and run analysis in Databricks and Python

· Translate business requirements into robust and scalable data products that support our analytics platform

· Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and drive continuous improvements

Who we're looking for

We believe you are analytical, business-minded and comfortable moving between technology and business. You take initiative and enjoy shaping data into insights that support sales, retention and guide executive business decisions. You appreciate working closely with our stakeholders and value insights that come from understanding their needs and workflows.

We would like you to have:

· A higher education in; economics, computer science or similar

· Relevant experience in analytics, data modelling or BI

· Experience with Databricks/Spark/Python/SQL

· Experience working with one of the major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP or AWS)
