We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our Issuer Product team and help modernize Sweden’s financial infrastructure. In this role, you’ll design and build robust databases and data workflows for client-facing applications that power the stock market. You’ll work hands-on with SQL Server, ETL pipelines, and cloud solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team where your expertise will make a real impact.

What you will do

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational databases, both on-premise and in the cloud.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and ETL workflows.
• Monitor performance, tune databases, and ensure data security, integrity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot issues and support seamless integration with applications.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects on data solutions.
• Document database structures and workflows, and use version control (Git) and basic scripting (e.g., Python).

About you
You are analytical, hands-on, and thrive working close to the data layer. With strong collaboration skills, you bring:

• 3–5 years of experience in database development and ETL workflows
• Strong skills in SQL Server, query optimization, and data-driven workflows
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience with system analysis, debugging, and performance tuning
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and produce clear technical documentation
