As CIO for Sodexo in the Nordics, you will drive the IT strategy across our Nordic operations, balancing the integration of Sodexo’s global IT vision with regional business needs. You will be instrumental in unifying diverse systems and processes, enhancing the resilience and adaptability of our technology infrastructure to meet Sodexo’s high standards of operational excellence and commitment to sustainable innovation.
You should be accustomed to working in a matrix organization as in this role, you will report to both the Swedish CEO and the Continental Europe CIO. You will also be a key member of the Continental European IT management group as well as the Swedish executive team, and lead IT service delivery across a fully outsourced environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across support functions and operation to ensure that our IT initiatives support Sodexo’s strategy and targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic IT leadership: Lead the Nordic IT strategy in alignment with Sodexo’s global vision, guiding the effective consolidation of systems to optimize resources and improve operational collaboration.
- Stakeholder engagement: Act as a bridge between global standards and local priorities, working with business leaders to address specific regional needs while supporting global technology initiatives.
- Vendor & outsourcing management: Oversee the quality of outsourced IT services, ensuring that the region’s infrastructure is robust, reliable, and agile, supporting Sodexo’s continuous improvement.
- Innovation & sustainability: Drive technology-led sustainability initiatives that resonate with Sodexo’s mission to contribute to environmental progress across all communities we touch.
Who you are
With over a decade of IT experience, you are a seasoned leader with a strong track record in team management, business relationship management, and IT strategy. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and are excellent at balancing stakeholder needs across various business functions. Your skill set includes:
Essential qualifications:
- 15+ years in IT, including 10 years in application, infrastructure, or project management, and a minimum of 5 years in an executive IT leadership role.
- Experience from leading large IT departments.
- Proficiency in IT governance, financial oversight, and vendor management, with proven experience in IT re-structuring and organizational development.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, with strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Professional certifications in IT service management or IT project management are considered a strong asset.
- A Master's degree in a relevant IT field.
