Are you also fascinated by how X-ray micro imaging can help in biomedical research? Are you challenged by understanding advanced research needs and opportunities? Do you want to be a part of taking cutting-edge technology to the market?
We have built an advanced micro-CT instrument that is particularly useful for imaging of soft tissue and low-density materials. Our customers are renowned research institutes, imaging centers, university hospitals, and private companies with extensive in-house research departments. The applications vary from research in pathology to 4D time-resolved imaging. Our long-term goal is for our instrument to be used clinically to support cancer treatment.
Exciscope is a pioneering tech company built on extensive academic research. We design and build state-of-the-art phase-contrast x-ray tomography systems, setting new standards in resolution and speed. We specialize in producing high-resolution 3D images, particularly excelling in contrast in soft materials, such as biomedical tissues, food, and plastic. We are a friendly, down-to-earth team and value diverse backgrounds and a healthy work-life balance to promote long-term innovation. For us, teamwork, empowerment, and early feedback are more important than first time right. Join us at our office in Kista, Stockholm, in shaping the future of imaging technology and enjoying a vibrant, collaborative environment.
As our next Instrument Sales Manager, you will be the central person in all customer relations. You will meet new customers when presenting at conferences, following up on your LinkedIn posts, or other marketing activities. Then understanding their needs and challenges before you decide how we can help. Pinpointing how our instrument and technology can solve the customer’s specific needs is crucial to a successful long-term relationship.
In this position, it is important to have patience since the time frame for sales of advanced laboratory instruments like ours might stretch over a few years. Often a funding process is required before the actual tendering begins. You must be ready to support our customers with technical data, sample scans, budget offerings, cheers, and enthusiasm. It’s often you who are gathering the customer’s team to move things forward. Online meetings are usually enough but sometimes you will have to travel to meet the customer in person.
Being responsible for all customer relations doesn’t mean that you are alone, you will have the whole Exciscope team behind you. If you need specific advice or help you can just reach out to the right person in the team.
We believe that you…
You are driven by innovation and the passion to contribute to revolutionizing medical imaging. In your work, you have built your network within the research community, perhaps with a focus on X-ray imaging. When you get the chance to speak in front of an audience you don’t shy away, you take the stage and inspire the listeners to continue with their groundbreaking research. And even better, you get to tell them about us and our product and tell them why they should use our instrument. Learning new things is a part of your protocol, and that is why you thrive in this kind of position.
We hope that you:
- Have a degree in Applied Physics,
- Have a couple of years of experience in sales of large laboratory instruments to research customers,
- Are fluent in professional technical English.
If you have worked with international sales, or perhaps have either an interest or experience within the field of X-Ray imaging such as micro-CT or phase-contrast imaging, it is of course a plus!
We are reviewing applications continuously, so apply straight away. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Anna at email@example.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
