We are now further expanding the R&D department and are therefore looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer to complement our talented team of engineers.
As an Electronics Engineer you will work in close collaboration within the Electronics/Software team and in close collaboration with, mechanical CAD engineers and laser engineers. The job includes CAD assisted layout work for production documentation but also involves making electronical designs of mixed analogue and digital electronics for laser systems ranging from IR, to visible, to UV. The work also involves verification and test of the hardware as well as firmware programming to enable test functions of the electronics boards equipped with microcontrollers. Your work will consist of a combination of design improvements on existing products, and new development.

We believe that you are a structured person who are used to, and enjoys, working in teams and communicating with others. We also believe that you have:
- BSc, MSc degree in electronic engineering, or similar field.
- Strong knowledge of both analogue and digital designs.
- Experienced in working with PCB.
- Good knowledge in PCB CAD layout constructions and has experience of Altium.
- Familiar with CE marking and certification processes like EMC, EMI and conductive emission.
- Good background in measurement and verification techniques.
- Experience in working with microprocessors and microcontrollers such as ARM, Cortex-M.
- Knowledge in programming languages like C, C++, and Python.
- Fluent in English.
Cobolt AB was founded in 2000 and is a spin-off from a research project at KTH. Today Cobolt AB belongs to the HÜBNER Photonics Group and the research department here consists of 12 persons working within CAD, laser-, software- and electronic engineering.
