Skanska IT Nordic (ITN) operates within the Nordic countries, daily serving about 12,000 users with effective IT solutions provided by about 220 ITN colleagues located in Sweden, Norway and Finland. ITN is an integrated IT function within Skanska, co-owning business success, striving to be closely integrated with our business partners and sharing Skanska’s overall goals and values. Our main focus is currently directed toward the digital transformation in the industry in order to create better opportunities for easier use of IT-related services on all Skanska construction sites.

Role Description

In this role, you will be a part of creating the future services within File services at ITN since we are heading towards more cloud based solutions, where you will be the one finding new ways for external file shares and services. You will be part of a team that with Microsoft products maintain and develop great infrastructure, making sure that our file services are accessible to our end users. You will be working both in projects, finding new solutions, and in our service desk on a senior level. Implementing automation processes by scripting with Powershell and making improvements in our daily operations and handling groups and user rights are examples of your work assignments. You will be involved in the early stages of the different projects and working closely with our local applications team and IT operations.

Role profile

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have solid experience from working with Active Directory and Windows server. We appreciate previous experience from scripting such as Powershell, knowledge in SCOM and skills within backup/archiving solutions e.g. NetBackup. 

We believe that you are a forward-thinking person who wants to work within new technologies yet maintaining good structure in your work. Having the ability to connect and communicate with other stakeholders and co-workers is key, so experience from project management or service management is highly appreciated.
