Pedago has developed a best-in-class interactive learning platform that enabled the launch of the first US accredited mobile university - Quantic. Pedago Labs is our new, Stockholm-based innovation studio responsible for researching, inventing, and launching new features, applications, and brands within the Pedago ecosystem. We created Pedago Labs to ensure we continue to lead the industry by building a team that focuses on next generation learning experiences with AI/ML technologies at the core.

What you'll do

As an AI Integration Engineer at Pedago Labs you will be responsible for building the fundamental chatbot experience within a lifelong learning forum - codenamed “JetSet”. JetSet is a place where professional people can meet and discuss different topics, based on what they are interested in and boost learning through interactive learning with others. This is a hybrid role where a significant part of your time will be spent on software development and implementation of your ideas. You will collaborate closely with the backend, mobile and content web engineering teams in developing a first-class user experience.

Additionally, you will be working on designing and developing future innovations under the Pedago brand. You will work with existing open source / commercial AI tools, find ways to integrate them with Pedago’s platform and spearhead creative efforts that find new ways to leverage existing AI tools in innovative ways.

With previous experience in software development and a genuine interest in NLP, you thrive in a fast-paced and adaptive environment. You get things done without cutting corners at the expense of quality and enjoy a creative way of working on brand new products and solutions. You should have:

• 2+ years of experience with Software Development
• Experience integrating with open source / commercial NLP and ML technologies
• Creativity, curiosity and a passion for tinkering and innovating
• A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Curiosity about the world of Edtech

We believe that co-location is a great enabler for innovation and collaboration - that's why we work 2 out of every 3 weeks co-located in our Stockholm office (the 3rd week you can work from wherever suits you best).
