Web Developer @ Pedago Labs
Pedago Labs - Prototyping the future of edtech.
Who we are
Pedago has developed a best-in-class interactive learning platform that enabled the launch of the first US accredited mobile university - Quantic. Now, with thousands of global students and alumni enrolled in our institutions, we’ve established ourselves as one of the most innovative and disruptive companies in edtech.
Pedago Labs is our new, Stockholm-based innovation studio responsible for researching, inventing, and launching new features, applications, and brands within the Pedago ecosystem. We created Pedago Labs to ensure we continue to lead the industry by building a team that focuses on next generation learning experiences with AI/ML technologies at the core.
We believe that high quality education is a difference-maker for the individual and, collectively, for society. Our dream is to bring the friction of quality education down toward zero – making it free, super convenient, and singularly efficient. And we’re getting there.
What you'll do
As a Web Developer at Pedago Labs you will be responsible for building the web application that our internal Content Team use to produce guided conversational content across a wide range of topics. You will work closely with a designer and build from a base of existing wireframes, mockups and designs. You will also work closely with the Mobile App Engineering team who will be responsible for “playing” the content created using the web-based authoring tools you will help build.
Additionally, you will be working on designing and developing future innovations under the Pedago brand. A likely contender for the next project is building tools for creating lifelong learning forums, where professionals can meet and discuss different topics based on what they are interested in (codenamed “JetSet”). It is a complete re-think of professional growth and networking based on authentic, meaningful connections and lifelong learning to enhance our lives and careers. It is a mobile app that enables professional growth and meaningful connections through live social learning centered on curated industry news, real life social events and interactive lessons from Quantic.
Who you are
With previous experience in web development, you thrive in a fast-paced and adaptive environment. You get things done without cutting corners at the expense of quality and enjoy a creative way of working on brand new products and solutions. If you like the idea of using your engineering skills to develop the world’s future edtech platform and try new things out on a daily basis, you will like it here.
