Cloud Automation Engineer to Vidispine!
We are now looking to extend our team with a Cloud Automation Engineer to manage the growing environment of hosted Vidispine services and solutions.

Vidispine is a fast-growing IT company with offices in Kista and Umeå. We develop advanced systems for video and image management, powering large media production systems around the globe. The base of our business is an API-based video platform that our customers build into their video production workflows. The Vidispine platform powers production systems on all continents of the world, serving thousands of users with millions of files. We have been awarded the DI Gasell award for being one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden two years in a row, 2017 and 2018.
As a member of our Network Operations Team, you will operate and maintain our AWS-based cloud service platform “Vidinet”, as well as other customer-specific managed systems running in the cloud. You will also serve and support our global network of development partners building complex Vidispine-based solutions in the cloud. You will work with Vidispine software for large scale systems for video and image management/processing, running on AWS, as well as REST APIs, SQL, Java and Ubuntu.
Who you are
You have a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. You are an experienced dev-ops engineer, sysadmin or “cloud-admin” with good knowledge of AWS or Azure. You have a great interest in technical development and problem solving. It is of merit if you have previous experience with Jenkins and Jira or similar tools, as well as Vidispine Server, Rest API’s, troubleshooting or handling of video and image formats.
As a person you are a driven, creative problem solver who are happy to take lead to evolve technical solutions in the right direction. You are thorough and operate with a “think before you do”-mindset. As a team player you will quickly be adopted into the tight team at Vidispine. Furthermore, you thrive in a role where you are expected to pick up new technology quickly, which is also something that attracts you. You have very good knowledge of English.
