Backend developer B2C

We are now looking for a Backend Developer to Telia Finance IT!

In this position you will be central in product and tech development @Telia Finance. You will work closely with our skilled engineers, scrum master, architect, and product owner in a tight knit team where we follow agile methodologies. Your next opportunity

My name is Helena Körberg and I have just started my job as Engineering Manager B2C in Telia Finance. We are launching a new organizational setup during 2022, where we will move towards continuous deployment, DevOps, and a transformation towards SaaS-based Public Cloud solutions.

As part of this transformation, we are insourcing our competence and we are now looking for a passionate developer to join our development team in the B2C domain!

The role

In this role, you will join our B2C team where we work with the payment solution for our customers. Right now, the team works on the adoption process of the system previously owned by an external consulting firm. During this process we are also rebuilding the system from scratch, rewriting the code, and modernizing the solution.

You will work closely together with our backend and frontend developers as well as our tester, UX designer, Product Owner, and Scrum Master. The team works with technologies such as Kotlin, AWS, JavaScript, Linux, and Microservices.

Here at Telia Finance we work in a close knitted team and we deeply value teamwork, we want everyone to be able to help each other out when necessary. We believe that this is easiest achieved when you have a curious mindset and a willingness to always learn more!

In this stage, not much is set, and you will get to influence how we build the new platform and provide input on everything from architectural questions to what the team should have for their weekly fika. We believe you have

• 3 years' experience of working with Backed development
• Previous experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience working according to DevOps methodology
• Previous experience working with test-driven development
• If you have experience working with checkout solutions and focusing on end users that would be considered a plus.
