Do you want to work with unique products in an innovative environment?
As a developer at Surgical Science you get to work with products that enable surgeons to train without putting patients at risk.
Surgical Science is a leading supplier of virtual reality simulators for medical training. Our training systems are used by medical training centers and institutes worldwide for practice, validation and certification of students, surgeons, and medical doctors.
We are looking for a simulator developer to join our development team in Gothenburg.
As a software developer at Surgical Science you will work within visual simulation. The work takes place in-house and you will take part in and potentially lead development projects, both internally and externally with clients. In this role you will work primarily with our products within the laparoscopic and endoscopic fields.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are a driven self-starter with a great deal of curiosity and a genuine interest in technology. We are looking for someone who enjoys teamwork and knowledge sharing and takes pride in delivering high quality work as a team.
You will be expected to see the big picture and learn about the business behind the programming. In time, you will have the opportunity to take on extra responsibility in a leader role within a development team/project.
Additionally, we think you have:
- 2+ years’ experience of C++ programming and Visual Studio
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Professional level of English. Swedish is a plus.
It is a huge plus, but not a must, if you have experience within simulation, game development, computer graphics or VR.
